Gerry Medow, Founder of Elite Health Technologies
Gerry Medow, the founder of Elite Health Technologies, is an accomplished massage therapist who has worked with and consulted with medical doctors, surgeons (ortho, neuro, oral), and doctors of natural medicine, as well as, chiropractors, physiotherapist, pharmacist, and sport injury specialists. He also has frequent exposure to pro athletes, coaches, and physical trainers.
From an early age, Gerry gained insight from the local tribal people in South Africa as they used plants and herbs to treat painful joints, bruises, and inflamed arthritic areas.
His later studies in anatomy and physiology were influenced by his mother, a professional nurse, whose wide range of experience encompassed treating patients in hospitals and teaching medical students.
Beginning at the age of 12, his curiosity grew as he had the unusual opportunity to observe scientists in a pathology lab. Here, he took the initiative to learn more about their use of natural herbs and plants, and how the compounding of these wonders of nature could positively affect the human body.
In later years, Gerry's work as an experienced therapist of 20 years took him to California, Arizona, Brazil, and finally Texas. Many people have benefited from this distinctive technique that he developed involving acupressure and massage. His customers cover a wide range including doctors, professional athletes, as well as, the physically injured and the physically active.
During his years of interacting with medical professionals, he learned that many of the drugs used by the patients had their origins in plants and herbs. He began to research how plants had been synthesized in labs and made into drugs. At this point, he concluded that combining herbs could create a very effective healing agent. Gerry isolated a large group of herbs, had engineers build many versions, and he then began to experiment with different combinations for many years until he found the most productive balance. This unique formulation of herbs has resulted in a very effective transdermal delivery system, which has made these ingredients more powerful than any single herb alone.
